hmmm there's no comment box in the student works section so im just clicking here =P
but wow at the second student skeleton drawing! at first when i saw it i thought it was one of those computer generated models cuz the shadows and everything were so smooth and three dimensional.
so the other nite at like 5am or sumthin i came up with this kooky idea and typed a 5page long e-mail to u and lol, um, it bounced...
damn...
its too long to type all over again... anyways, i sorta had this idea of doing this guitar thing with some of ur art for a thing on youtube. i dunno if u'd be into it but um ill try to find u sometime to explain wot i was picturing in my head and wot it all about hehee...
i kinda got the guitar down just my fingers are killing me cuz i've been playing it so much but maybe gimme a week and my fingers will stop stinging lol.
Couldn't post to the 'Old Works' site, but i'm wondering- Are those all from SAIC? such incredibly beautiful work. what accounts for the black tirangular shape in the piece from the third to the bottom?
lol sounds like a fun idea Yak. Sure I'll have time to goof around with your idea. Lots of free time at work once my work starts going again. I make alot of things while im working. Send me a email with your lyrics would love to see it! Think you found my real email!
Hey isaac. Some are from SAIC some when I was at Virginia Commonwealth University. The piece with the green triangular thing is actually a little evergreen tree. The little green light glows behind it and suppose to be kind of an arora borealis. Long story with that piece maybe when you come back into town can talk to you about Joseph Beuys and see some of your writing!
Currently teaching in a Visual Arts Program for High School, I graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a masters degree in sculpture.
This blog was created so that I could share my work and student work to friends and the public interested in the arts for discussion. I am also trying to create a listing of art opportunites for atists.
